Aditi brings over 20 years of experience to her teaching – both as a practitioner and a teacher of yoga. She grew up in India where she was trained in Indian Classical dance from a young age, and yoga was a natural progression.
Aditi trained under Pradeep Sattwamaya of a1000Yoga and Regeesh Vattakandy of Aayana Yoga Academy in Bangalore, India. Their teachings imparted a deep understanding of the transformational aspect of yoga in the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of life.
Aditi’s classes revolve around exploring the strength and flexibility of our mental and physical boundaries; and although the classes are suitable for all levels, they may challenge expectations – they require openness to learn and explore.
Aditi teaches a variety of styles – from vinyasa to restorative yoga and meditation. But the style she enjoys teaching the most is a slow-paced, alignment-based Hatha Yoga practice that encourages students to move mindfully, feeling each movement rather than focusing on how it is supposed to look.
Aditi believes that a daily yoga practice is essential to strengthen the body, balance the mind and connect with the soul, through which we learn to unlock new possibilities and achieve the transformation we desire.
